A micro welding stylus, leather patch, and gorgeous chain walk into a bar…

Once the sizing is perfect for you, then we will take a leather patch and place between your skin and the chain. This is simply to protect your skin. Once the stylus touches the chain it will create a spark that welds your piece together.

It is bracelets, necklaces, or anklets that are welded onto you so there is no pesky clasp. Each piece is custom to YOU and can last months to years! Pick out your chain(s), we will do custom sizing, and with a quick weld you are officially a part of The Welded.

Using a mini welding machine, we can weld your piece onto your desired location within seconds! We will place a small, leather square between your skin & the chain and then with a quick “flash” from the welder, VOILA!, you’re part of The Welded! If at any point you wish to remove your jewelry, simply use a pair of scissors to cut the welded link. Save your chain, though, so we can weld it back on for you!

The term “permanent” is used because it gives the appearance that it cannot be taken off! Please note, you will be able to remove the jewelry whenever you wish. By simply cutting the welded link your piece will be removed! Soon I will be offering clasps for those that are not in favor of the “permanent” concept.

The Welded Company currently carries 14k Gold-Filled chains, Sterling Silver, and upon request I can have 14k Gold (Yellow & White) or Rose Gold as well!

Gold-Filled is my most popular and durable selection. It does not tarnish easily and can be worn wherever! If properly taken care of, gold-filled can last for years.

Sterling Silver is not recommended over gold-filled due to it needing a little more tender love & care. But I get that there is a love for silver pieces out there! Please note that it will need to be cleaned regularly and will tarnish if left wet or exposed to harsh chemicals.

Gold is gold! It will last a lifetime and the price tag shows it. It won’t tarnish and can be worn in almost all conditions.

The pieces are 100% 14k gold-filled or solid sterling silver, which means with proper love and care they will last for years to come!

Please note that the lifespan of your permanent jewelry is highly dependent on your lifestyle. I’ve chosen high-quality pieces that are designed for everyday wear, but they are still fine jewelry.

Gold-Filled jewelry is created with an outer layer of entirely 14k gold that is pressure-bonded to the brass base metal and contains at least 5% gold by weight. This makes it more durable than solid gold or plated jewelry & provides a longer life span for your pieces provided they are cared for properly. Please be cautious if you have an allergy to brass as gold-filled jewelry contains this metal! Gold-filled jewelry is second to solid gold in terms of quality, but is number one in affordability, durability, and longevity.

Sterling Silver is beautiful and shiny, but will easily tarnish if not cared for properly. Unlike gold-filled, Sterling Silver does not hold up well in water, chemical exposure, or around beauty products. Sterling Silver will require frequent light polishing to help minimize tarnishing! Using a mild dish soap and water will help tremendously.

GREAT QUESTION! The beauty of jewelry is that the offerings are endless. For those that are not looking for something being so permanent, I can weld a clasp onto your piece for just an additional $10! This way you will be able to take the piece on and off as you please.

Save your chain and I will give you one free reattachment with proof of purchase. If the chain is not in original condition (stretched out, breakage, or multiple repairs) a new chain will need to be purchased.

I have yet to meet a piece of jewelry the airport did not like! So, yes, you can wear it through the airport with no problems. If you run into an issue for some odd reason, save your chain & proof of purchase and I’ll reweld it for you for free.

As for an MRI, please consult your physician prior to the scan to see what they recommend.

Absolutely! If you live within the Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Holland area I will travel to you free of charge. If you are outside of the tri-cities area I will still travel to you, but there will be additional charges discussed during our consultation.
